Things to Do in Littleton This Weekend: 9 Local Events and Activities (March 6–8, 2026)
By Bryan Messick, REALTOR®, AI Certified Agent™ & Littleton Lifestyle Specialist
If you have lived in Littleton for any length of time, you know that the first weekend of March is a bit of a wildcard. We might get a foot of snow, or we might see the first hints of spring sunshine reflecting off the foothills. Either way, there is no reason to stay cooped up. This weekend, March 6-8, 2026, is packed with local flavor, from the start of the most anticipated dining event of the year to some quiet nature moments before the spring rush.
I'm Bryan Messick, your Littleton neighbor since 1998, and if you're looking for a fun, easy weekend close to home, here are nine solid options around town. Whether you're new here or you've been here forever, Littleton stays busy in the best way.
And if real estate is on your radar this spring, I’m always happy to be a resource as your top Littleton Real Estate agent—no pressure, just local info when you need it. If you want to get a feel for the area, start here: living in Littleton, CO and Downtown Littleton.
1) Denver Restaurant Week (Easy Littleton Options)
Dates: Starts Friday, March 6
Where: Participating restaurants across the metro (including options near Littleton)
It’s technically “Denver” Restaurant Week, but you can absolutely make a Littleton-friendly plan out of it without turning your night into a cross-town mission. Prix-fixe menus usually run $25, $35, $45, or $55, and it’s a great excuse to try somewhere new (or finally book the place you always say you’ll try “someday”).
If you want to keep it close to home, these are simple, walkable picks:
The Melting Pot — 2707 W Main St
ViewHouse Littleton — 2680 W Main St
2) Town Hall Arts Center: 'night, Mother
Dates: March 6–8 (evening + matinee options)
Town Hall Arts Center is one of those places that makes Downtown Littleton feel like a real downtown (because it is). 'night, Mother is a Pulitzer Prize-winning play—intense, well-acted, and the kind of show you’ll talk about on the drive home.
Before or after, it’s easy to make a whole evening out of Downtown Littleton.
3) Littleton Museum: Living History Farm + Exhibits
Date: Saturday, March 7
Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
If you want something low-key (and genuinely local), the Littleton Museum is always a good call. The living history farm is the standout—historic buildings, seasonal chores, and a pace that feels like a reset button.

4) Hudson Gardens: Quiet Walk Along the South Platte
Dates: Open daily (Saturday morning is a great window)
Early March is “in-between” season, and Hudson Gardens is perfect for that. The paths are easy, the river views are calming, and you can get outside without committing to a full-on hike.
5) Breckenridge Brewery (Littleton): Food + Beers + Hangout Space
Dates: Saturday & Sunday (reservations recommended)
This place is built for a weekend meet-up. Big space, good food, and it’s an easy “bring a couple friends” option without overthinking it. If you do the tour—cool. If you don’t—also cool.
6) Downtown Littleton: Stroll, Shops, Coffee, and People-Watching
Dates: March 6–8
Where: Main Street corridor + nearby blocks
Local guide: https://livinginlittleton.com/downtown-littleton
If the weather cooperates at all, Downtown Littleton is the simplest plan you can make. Grab coffee, wander into a few shops, and call it a win. And if the weather doesn’t cooperate… you can still do most of it, just faster.
7) South Platte Park: Quick Nature Break (No Big Drive Required)
Dates: March 6–8
Where: South Platte Park area (Littleton)
When you want “outside” without “trailhead stress,” South Platte Park does the job. Flat paths, river access, and plenty of space to walk, jog, or just get moving for 30 minutes.
8) Chatfield State Park: Fresh Air + Big Views
Dates: March 6–8
Where: Chatfield State Park (Littleton)
Nearby home search: https://livinginlittleton.com/chatfield-area-homes
Chatfield is a go-to year-round, but early March is especially nice because you can beat the warmer-weather crowds. If you’re curious what it’s like living near Chatfield, that home search link is a good starting point.
9) Aspen Grove: Shopping + Dinner + Easy Parking
Dates: March 6–8
Aspen Grove is an easy “do a few errands, grab a bite” spot. It’s open-air, simple to navigate, and you can keep it as quick or as long as you want.
Littleton Spring Real Estate Market Update
As we head into the second weekend of March, the real estate market in Littleton is starting to heat up. I know many of you are watching the headlines, but the local data tells the real story.
According to Mortgage News Daily, the current 30-year fixed mortgage rate is sitting at 6.13%. While that’s higher than the historic lows of a few years ago, we are seeing a significant amount of activity as buyers realize that "waiting for 3%" might mean waiting forever.
Market Segment Breakdown:
Single-Family Homes: Inventory remains tight. Well-priced homes in neighborhoods like Sterling Ranch or those near Heritage High School are seeing multiple offers within the first weekend. If you are planning to sell, now is the time to get your home "show-ready."
Condos & Townhomes: This segment is incredibly active right now. With the 6.13% rate, many people are looking at townhomes near Downtown Littleton or Aspen Grove as a way to build equity without the maintenance of a large yard.
The "Spring Push": Historically, March is when we see a surge of listings. If you have been on the fence, let's talk. Whether you are looking for a cash offer to move quickly or you want to trade-in your current home, there are more options today than there were six months ago.
Littleton is a special place, and the market here tends to be more resilient than other parts of the metro area. If you're curious about what your specific property might be worth in today’s market, you can check your home value here.
