If you own a home in Littleton, your property value moved this quarter. The Littleton single-family median sold price reached $725,000 in September 2026, up 1.4% from $715,000 a year earlier. Inventory stayed tight at 2.7 months of supply, and homes spent a median of just 21 days in the MLS before going under contract.

But here's the thing: a citywide median tells you about the market, not about your home. Your value depends on your neighborhood, your home's condition, your updates, your lot, and the specific comparable sales nearby. An automated estimate has never walked through your front door — and that's exactly why a Real Estate Review is worth your time.

What the September 2026 Numbers Show

Here's where Littleton's detached single-family market stood in September 2026, with year-over-year change:

    • Median sold price: $725,000 (+1.4% vs. September 2025)
    • Closed sales: 206 (+7.9% year over year)
    • Active listings: 520 (+4.2%)
    • New listings: 218 (+13.0%)
    • Median days in MLS: 21 (down from 35 a year ago)
    • Months of supply: 2.7 (a seller's-leaning market under 3)
    • Median sale-to-list ratio: 99.5% (+0.6%)

Why a Median Doesn't Tell You Your Number

The $725,000 median is the midpoint — half of Littleton's detached homes sold above it, half below. Your home could be well above or below that line depending on square footage, lot size, condition, and neighborhood. A 1,200-square-foot ranch in one ZIP code and a 3,000- square-foot two-story in another will tell very different stories, even though they share the same city name.

That's why the only reliable way to know your value is a comparative market analysis (CMA) built from recent sales of homes like yours, in your neighborhood, adjusted for your home's specific condition and features. That's what a Real Estate Review gives you.

What a Real Estate Review Includes

A Real Estate Review is a free, no-obligation check-in on your home's market position. It's the same kind of analysis I'd prepare for a seller — but with zero pressure to list. Here's what you get:

    • Current market value based on recent comparable sales in your neighborhood
    • Estimated equity — the difference between your home's value and your remaining mortgage balance
    • Net proceeds estimate — what you'd actually walk away with after selling costs
    • Best timing window based on seasonal Littleton buyer activity
    • Improvement ROI — which updates add value and which ones don't pay back

Why It Matters Even If You're Not Selling

Your home is likely your largest financial asset, yet most homeowners don't know their current equity position. Whether you're considering refinancing, renovating, tapping equity, or just want to stay informed, knowing your numbers helps you make confident decisions. And if you ever do decide to sell, you'll already have your starting point.

Most Littleton homeowners benefit from a value check once or twice a year. With the market shifting seasonally and mortgage rates hovering near 7.59% for 30-year fixed (per Mortgage News Daily, October 7, 2026), the picture can change faster than you'd expect.
